In fact, young people do not like to read any books. How parents and teachers can help children learn to love reading? I think, we should become example for them.
For all my student, English is secondary language. What is the best way to teach the language? I know one simple method:
Read what you like,
Write how you feel,
Speak when it is necessary.

Unbelievable some students enjoy different
kinds of reading. So English teachers can change genres and assign homework, like to
read fantasy, novel, creative nonfiction, historical literature and
even anecdote.
Nowadays students have not problems with lack of
books.
People can read online or download a lot of reading
materials at any time. For example, http://americanenglish.state.gov/ebooks.
Strong reading and writing skills come only from
practice.
